About Colleen M. Shannon
Colleen M. Shannon is the founder of Caregiving Consulting, helping older adults and their families navigate the complexities of aging through virtual and in-person support across the United States. She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), National Certified Guardian (NCG), Aging Life Care Professional (ALCA) and member of the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC). Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience as a long-distance caregiver and power of attorney for multiple family members, Colleen understands the challenges families face when caring for aging loved ones. Her mission is to help families move from crisis management to proactive planning, creating greater safety, independence, and stability for older adults while reducing stress and uncertainty for those who support them.
