Nurse\\\'s Voice Summit Presentation
Wellness Your Way
First available August 1, 2026 - ongoing on demand
About the Presentation
In nursing 101 I learned that the role of a nurse is to create an environment where healing takes place. This holds true through whatever role you assume in the nursing profession. When I learned that the determinants of health were 10% healthcare, 20% genetics, and 70% lifestyle and environment, I redirected my focus to how to transform life from the inside out by changing mindset, looking at the pillars of health, assessing strengths and weaknesses of each category and figuring out how a person can tweak these to fit their lifestyle. My talk will explore this journey.
